		<description>Looks like a good way of teaching UK politics, however the Black Rod is largely a ceremonial thing, and its equivalent in the House of Commons seems to be more practical than political. 

The House of Lords, I believe should be understood more as a version of second chamber-concept. Focusing on its duties seems like a waste of time - as those duties are minimal today, while arguing over the need for a second chamber, and the nature of second chambers, might be more worthwhile. Perhaps I should blog on it...</description>
